The CHW CORE Training Program seeks to increase the number of trained, certified community health workers (CHWs) across Pennsylvania and Delaware. To That end, we provide a free, schedule-flexible training course that covers the full 75 hours required for state certification as a CHW.

Engage with these trainings online and at your own pace. They will help prepare you to gain your Community Health Worker certification which is valid in Pennsylvania and will be valid in Delaware once legislation is passed. 

Public Health Management Corporation(PHMC), one of Pennsylvania's largest public health administration providers, is providing the online portion of this CHW training program. Using an online Learning Management System to reach trainees across the states of Pennsylvania and Delaware, PHMC will help guide participants through 75 hours of videos and activities which can be completed at your own pace.
